OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Traffic in southern Marion County will be heavily impacted this weekend as thousands of concertgoers head to the Florida Horse Park for the Rock the Country music festival, May 9-10. The event is expected to draw large crowds and create significant congestion on nearby roads.
Road closures
- CR 475A / SW 16th Avenue northbound will be closed from SW Highway 484 during the hours before and after the event.
- All through traffic on CR 475A/SW 16th Avenue will be rerouted to CR 475.
Additional traffic control zones
Temporary measures will be in place along:
- SW Highway 484 from SE 25th Avenue to I-75
- Both Florida Horse Park entrances on CR 475A/SW 16th Avenue and CR 475
- SW 107th Place from CR 475A/SW 16th Avenue to CR 475
