OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Mark your calendar for Nov. 10. The new Family Monument will be unveiled at the Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The monument recognizes the sacrifices of military families who support our troops.
The generosity of Ocala-based Cone Distributing, Inc., which donated $141,000, made the project possible.
Immediately following the unveiling ceremony, there will be a free concert featuring the Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band and the annual “Light Up the Stars” fireworks display.
