OCALA, FL (352today.com)—It was deja vu for Ocala Fire Rescue (OFR) firefighters when they were dispatched to a fire in a recognizable place.

Two days ago, a fire destroyed an RV in the 200 block of NW 9th St., reducing it to ashes.

To the left of the RV, you’ll see the front of a van with its hood open. On Wednesday afternoon, just two days after firefighters extinguished the RV, that van caught fire.

Firefighters reportedly heard popping noises, which they say likely indicate ammunition igniting from the burning van as they arrived on the scene.

The Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded.

The van was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

OFR is investigating the cause of the van fire and continuing an investigation into the RV fire.
