OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Florida gas prices fell 14 cents last week, reaching their lowest point of the year, but experts warn that prices could fluctuate in the coming days.

According to AAA – The Auto Club Group, the state’s average gas price on Sunday was $3.03 per gallon, marking the lowest daily average since December. The new low is two cents below the previous 2025 record, which was set in early January.

“Oil prices are trading on the lower end of the range they’ve been in for the past few months,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA – The Auto Club Group. “This has enabled gas prices to also slip to the lower end of the range they’ve recently been priced at. However, Florida gas prices have been erratic and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see an uptick this week.”

While prices have dipped statewide, drivers in Ocala found some of the lowest prices in the region. As of Monday, GasBuddy.com reported that the cheapest gas in Ocala was $2.74 per gallon at the Circle K on SW State Road 200.

Gas prices remain subject to market fluctuations, with analysts keeping an eye on oil prices and supply trends in the coming weeks.
