OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Florida gas prices averaged $3.10 per gallon on Monday, reflecting a modest increase over the past week. While drivers are paying 3 cents more than last week and 8 cents more than last month, prices remain 37 cents lower than this time last year.
In Ocala, some of the lowest gas prices were spotted at Murphy USA, Walmart on SW Hwy 200, and Wawa on SW College Road, where prices stood at $2.85 per gallon as of Tuesday morning, according to GasBuddy.com.

“Crude oil prices are flat, despite various geopolitical issues,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Last week, the state average briefly dipped below $3 a gallon for the first time since December. However, the state average rebounded to its current price, which is within the same range that gas prices have been in through most of this year.”
Despite the recent fluctuations, fuel prices in Florida have remained relatively stable, with analysts keeping an eye on global market trends that could impact costs in the coming weeks.
