OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala International Horse Show kicked off on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Ocala.

WEC’s website says the show offers “spectators a glimpse into the wonderful world of animated show horses.”

WEC says the premier equestrian event features American Saddlebred, Roadster Ponies, Harness & Hackney Ponies, Morgan Horses, Dutch Harness Horses, Roadsters and Open Breed classes inviting Arabians, Friesians and others to compete in a diverse collection of disciplines.

There will be reigning World Grand Champions in attendance, as well as up and coming teams making debuts.
