GILCHRIST COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) arrested a man they say was selling illegal narcotics in the Fanning Springs area.

GCSO says they arrested 37-year-old Marvin Laquan Dunmore on March 20. They say he had several warrants out for his arrest in Gilchrist and Levy Counties. The Gilchrist County warrant stemmed from a criminal investigation conducted by GCSO investigators that involved Dunmore dealing drugs, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities say the investigation led them to file charges with the State Attorney’s Office. Those charges included trafficking methamphetamines and possession with intent to sell narcotics within 1000 feet of a specified property. Combined his bond was set at $250,000.

Dunmore was also arrested on the Levy County warrant for cocaine distribution with a bond of $100,000, according to GCSO.

The sheriff’s office shared in a Facebook post that Dunmore has an “extensive criminal history” with numerous arrests including three felony convictions, three misdemeanor convictions, and 18 unknown dispositions.
