Golden to coach Monday night amidst Title IX investigation

GAINESVILLE, FL (352today.com) – Despite a recent Title IX investigation alleging sexual harassment and stalking, University of Florida men’s basketball coach Todd Golden will lead his team against Grambling State on Monday night.

The University of Florida Athletic Association confirmed Golden’s status on Sunday evening, stating that his position as head coach remains unchanged.

The allegations against Golden surfaced on social media, with the accuser claiming unwanted advances, explicit messages, and requests for sexual favors.

In response, Golden posted a statement on X, acknowledging the ongoing university investigation and hiring an attorney to explore potential defamation claims. He expressed confidence in the university’s review process and thanked supporters for their support.
