The Draft Horse World Series will highlight breed-specific and all-breed competitions, with the top teams vying for the title of industry champions. Organizers emphasize the event’s inclusivity, welcoming competitors based on merit rather than travel capabilities. Spectators can expect an unparalleled display of skill, from breathtaking six-horse hitches to individual performances that showcase the true strength and beauty of these powerful animals.
In addition to the competitions, Grandview World Nights will host the Grandview World of Red Party on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala. The event, a highlight of the weekend, promises an evening of high-energy entertainment.

The party will feature live music starting at 8 p.m., a dance floor, happy hour at 7 p.m., and climate-controlled spaces to ensure guest comfort.
Grandview Clydesdale Farm owners Shannon and Karen Cobbs are at the helm of the event, ensuring an experience that blends equestrian excellence with community engagement.

“You’ll see the bodybuilders of the equine world,” Shannon Cobbs said. “They’re all big. There will be multiple horses at our events that are over 19 hands tall, and almost every horse that is there will be well over 2,000 pounds.”
Cobbs and his wife take pride in Ocala’s reputation as the “Horse Capital of the World” and see their events as a bridge between horse enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
“Karen and I feel truly honored to be a big part of [the Horse Capital of the World], and we try and, I guess, bring non-horse people and horse people together literally every day,” he said.
