OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Want to learn more about what’s happening in the city of Ocala and give your input to people who can do something about it? Then be sure to attend one of two town hall meetings today.

The City of Ocala is hosting public meetings on Thursday, March 7 at noon and 5:30 p.m. The sessions will take place at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition located at 15 SE Osceola Ave in downtown Ocala.

The city says both sessions will cover the same issues.

Topics include but are not limited to:

  • parking garage two
  • downtown parking program
  • loading zones
  • future pedestrian improvements
  • underground trash receptacles
  • lighting

The city says residents will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with city staff in an open forum setting but advise that topics will be limited to those within the jurisdiction of the City of Ocala.
