OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala’s nonprofit Heart of Florida Health Center, which strives to provide compassion and quality healthcare to all communities in the region, is highlighting National Community Health Center Week (August 2-8) with a community cookout that also serves to spotlight those who do so much to keep the organization helping others.
“Join us in celebrating National Community Health Center Week as we recognize the dedicated staff, board members and supporters who help Heart of Florida Health Center provide quality healthcare to our community,” reads the invitation.
The barbecue cookout will be held at the center’s main office at 2553 E. Silver Springs Blvd. in Ocala on Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
