HERNANDO COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says it needs your help with an unsolved murder.
The sheriff’s office says Dominique Lewis was murdered shortly after Thanksgiving in 2007. They say the 19-year-old was from St. Petersburg. According to deputies, on Dec. 11, 2007, her body was found in the woods off Brooksville Rock Road in Brooksville.
They say Lewis was a medical student at the Ultimate Medical Academy in Clearwater. Her car was found abandoned at Fat Boys Beauty Salon located at 301 34th St. North in St. Petersburg.

Detectives say they are still seeking information regarding Lewis’ death. They are asking anyone with any information to contact them at 352-754-6380.
