OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Picnics, parades, patriotic performances and oppressive heat are all in store for this 4th of July holiday weekend.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a heat advisory from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday. The NWS says the heat index values will feel like it’s more than 100 degrees all across North Central Florida.

That’s dangerous for you and your family if you don’t take proper precautions like staying hydrated. While a cold beer will quench your thirst, the experts say water is your best bet for proper protection from the effects of the extreme heat.
So, however, you’re marking the holiday weekend you won’t have freedom from scorching temperatures.
