OCALA, FL (352today.com) – It’s a holiday week and many people are hoping to mark the 4th of July with cookouts, beach trips and, of course, enjoying fireworks displays.

The big question is will Mother Nature cooperate or will she disrupt things with her own version of “fireworks” in the form of thunderstorms?

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast for this week does call for showers and thunderstorms every day this week.

The timing will determine whether you’ll be enjoying those burgers and hot dogs outside or be seeking shelter inside.

As you plan your Independence Day, one thing is for sure there will be no freedom from heat. NWS meteorologists say temps in the mid-90s will feel like more than 100 degrees.
