CITRUS COUNTY, FL (352today) – The State Attorney’s Office (SAO) says a 38-year-old Homosassa man was sentenced to 25 years in the Florida Department of Corrections followed by five years of probation.
Authorities say Glenn Talmage Cunningham was found guilty last month on four counts of transmission of harmful material to a minor and two counts of computer pornography to seduce, solicit, lure, or entice a child to engage in any illegal act. SAO says Cunningham was not in court during his trial.
SAO says the incident was a result of an undercover operation titled “Operation Lucky Strike.” In March of 2023, the SAO says the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) arrested Cunningham during the operation, which aimed at arresting “internet cyber predators” who attempt to engage in sexual activity with a child.
During the operation, law enforcement officials acted as minors online and waited to be solicited through online messages by the predators. Authorities say those child predators would send “sexually explicit” pictures, messages, and “detailed requests of various sexual activities” they wanted to do with the minor.
SAO says Cunningham knowingly texted and called one of the posed law enforcement officials that he believed was a 14-year-old child. They say he also sent two graphic images and continued to contact the posed minor. Cunningham was arrested along with 10 others during the undercover operation, according to CCSO.

During his arrest, they say he told them that he thought he was communicating with an adult, despite there being multiple pieces of evidence where he acknowledged the minor was 14 years old. SAO says Cunningham also admitted to sending the “decoy pornographic images of male anatomy.”
“Our office would like to thank the dedicated law enforcement officers who took part in this operation, said Fifth Judicial Circuit State Attorney Bill Gladson. “As a result of their efforts and the successful prosecution by our team, predators like Cunningham know there will be severe consequences for attempting to entice a minor child for sexual gratification.”
