CITRUS COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies arrested a man who they say shot someone after a verbal altercation.

Deputies say on October 24, they responded to North Paul Drive in Inverness after they receiving a call stating multiple gunshots were fired in the area. When deputies arrived at the scene to investigate, they say 49-year-old Rudolph Holton pulled out a gun, firing three shots at the victim. The sheriff’s office says the victim was shot one time and was transported to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies say they found the firearm that was used in a wooded area behind the home.

The suspect was arrested without further incident and charged with aggravated domestic battery with a deadly weapon and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. He is being held without a bond, according to CCSO jail records.
