Alachua & Lake County, FL (352today.com) – Voters in six north-central Florida communities went to the polls today, Tuesday, Nov. 7, to cast ballots in a variety of municipal elections.

In a couple of races, incumbents were unseated. Winners denoted in BOLD.

Alachua County – High Springs
In the Alachua County town of High Springs, there are two city commission seats up for grabs.

The election is for seats #1 and #2 of the High Springs City Commission.

The incumbents face challenges in both contests.

Lake County – Clermont, Lady Lake, Mascotte, Minneola, Tavares

In Lake County, communities are voting on council seats, ordinances and ballot issues.

  • Max Krzyminski – 1,828 – 48.24%
  • Chandra Myers – 1,961 – 51.76%

  • Monica Luna – 479 – 31%
  • Pam Serviss (incumbent) – 1,066 – 69%

Minneola City Council, Seat 3

  • Nathan Focht – 762 – 47.83%

  • Juana Delacruz – 315 – 20.47%
