OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Join the city for the 1st Annual Ocala City Wide Family Reunion on Friday, June 19 from noon to 7 p.m. This day will be filled with family-friendly fun and gathering at Webb Field, 1501 W Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to bring family and friends to celebrate Juneteenth with a day full of festive activities. Guests can take a bite of a variety of foods, play games to win prizes, shop vendors and enjoy surprises for all ages. Vendors and sponsors include Blessed Bites, Arc of Marion, Lemon Boys, Team Cone, FLC Bank, Mr. and Mrs. Taters N Tots, Heart of Florida Health Center, The Watering Mill and more.
The gathering and celebration will feature Comedian Jonathan Slocumb as host of the evening. Live music will be played throughout the day by America’s Got Talent finalist, Steve Ray Ladson and his band. Doors will open at 9 a.m. while festivities begin at noon.
Admission is free with support from the E.B. Mills Foundation of Florida. Commemorative glasses and shirts will be available for purchase during the event to support their scholarship fund. The early bird price for the commemorative shirts is $15 with glasses available on-site.
