LADY LAKE, FL (352today.com) – The Town of Lady Lake is preparing for a variety of holiday festivities that promise to be ‘out of this world.’

The theme for this year’s annual Lady Lake Christmas parade is “Christmas in Space.”

The one-mile parade kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, on Old Dixie Highway between Guava Street and Griffin View Drive.

Organizers say the parade will feature classic cars, twirlers, clowns, candy, marching bands, horses, and an array of floats traversing through historic Lady Lake streets.

“Parade-goers will encounter Santa and Mrs. Claus like never before as they take to the skies in their very own intergalactic sleigh,” said the town in a release.

Lady Lake is accepting applications for parade participants until Nov. 22 on a first come, first served basis.

They say it’s free to march, drive or roll in a float, but all parade participants must fill out an application.

Light up Lady Lake at Log Cabin Park: Friday, Dec. 8, 6:15 p.m.
Snooky’s Luminary Walk at Snooky Park: Dusk, Dec. 14-16
