EUSTIS, FL (352today.com) – UPDATE: After several days on the run, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office confirms they captured a man considered armed and dangerous.

LCSO says they took David Flores into custody on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

On Thursday, they also investigated reports that Flores placed improvised explosive devices in a Eustis home Sunday evening.

Deputies say they searched a residence on Bates Avenue and determined there was no need for evacuations.

ORIGINAL 10/9: The Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is searching for a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault.

Deputies are looking for 37-year-old David Flores.

LCSO says it received a report at approximately 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening that Flores had committed an aggravated assault at a residence on Bates Avenue in Eustis.

Deputies say they were told that Flores was armed and ran off into the woods nearby. Deputies searched the area but have not reported finding Flores.

They say Flores also has an active warrant for burglary and that his last known address is in Apopka. They also say he also has ties to the Sorrento and Eustis areas.
Deputies say Flores is possibly armed and should be considered dangerous. If you see Flores, you are urged call 911 and not approach him.
