LAKE COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – November is National Veterans and Military Families Month, and the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller announced it will once again be offering free passport photo services to veterans and active-duty military personnel all month long.
“This marks our seventh year providing free passport photos for our veterans and military personnel,” said Gary Cooney, Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, in a statement. “Our service members give so much in service to our Country, and this is one small way we can express our gratitude for what they do.”
The County Clerk has provided free passport photos to more than 400 current and former members of our military.
In order to be eligible, military personnel can show their military ID, DD-214 Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, or driver’s license with a veteran’s designation. Appointments are available 8:30a.m.-3:45 p.m. Monday-Friday, and can be made by calling 352-253-2648 or visiting lakecountyclerkfl.gov/passports.
Passports are currently being processed at these Lake County locations:

- · North Lake Branch Office, 902 Avenida Central, The Villages
- · South Lake Branch Office, 290 Citrus Tower Blvd., Suite 116, Clermont
