GAINESVILLE, FL (352today.com) – Trucks, tractors and utility vehicles stopped traffic on Gainesville’s streets on Tuesday morning.

The convoy was the University of Florida’s (UF) fourth annual Facilities Services Holiday Parade.

Decorated vehicles of all sorts that support the university’s operations including police cruisers and fire trucks paused at each Baby Gator location and Shands Children’s Hospital to deliver the spirit of the season.

“Facilities Services is forever excited to bring the annual Christmas parade to the children at the Baby Gator locations and the UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital,” said Senior Director of Operations for Facilities Services Gregg Clarke. “Seeing the joy and excitement on both the children’s and parade participant’s faces creates a holiday spirit for everyone to enjoy. We always want to make a difference and create positive experiences for the UF Community.”
