LEVY COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Levy County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) says they arrested a man wanted for several felonies in multiple counties in the 352 area.

Deputies say in addition to Levy County, 26-year-old Wyatt Morgan Arnow was wanted in Alachua and Citrus Counties on multiple violent felonies including use of a firearm.

LCSO says they received information on December 19 that Arnow might be located at an address near Morriston.

Deputies say based on prior history they believed Arnow would resist arrest so they devised a plan where they could limit his escape routes.

They say they set a trap and waited for Arnow to drive away. They say he led them on a short vehicle pursuit when they tried to pull him over. When he turned down a dead end road, they say he bolted from the car and tried to run away. From there, they say he jumped into a Polaris side-by-side utility vehicle that had a key in it.

Deputies say Arnow rammed the UTV into a patrol vehicle blocking his path and took off again on foot.

LCSO says they shot him with a taser to try to stop him.

“He continued to fight with deputies although the taser initially incapacitated him. Three deputies struggled with him until he was ultimately cuffed,” said LCSO in a news release.

In August, we reported on a case involving Arnow where the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office says they chased Arnow and a deputy was hit by a car driven by Arnow’s accomplice.

In addition to the prior charges, LCSO says Arnow now faces the following additional charges:

  • aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer
  • resisting arrest
  • fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement
  • grand theft of a motor vehicle
  • other traffic violations

His bond has been set at $835,000.
