GAINESVILLE, FL (352today.com) – Piesanos, the stone-fired pizzeria founded in Gainesville in 2009 and “the only Italian restaurant in Florida with nearly 20 years perfecting granite stone-fired pizza,” is celebrating Pi Day (3.14, get it?) on Saturday, March 14, 2026, by offering even more than a delicious pie.

At all of the Sunshine State chain’s 15 locations, for one day only, the company will donate $3.14 to Habitat for Humanity for each large pizza sold.

“Pi Day is one of those moments where something fun can also be meaningful,” said Jerry Roberts, Co-Owner of Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, in an announcement. “Pizza brings people together, and partnering with Habitat for Humanity allows us—and our guests—to turn that shared experience into real impact for families across Florida.”

For those who don’t know, Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit that helps build, maintain and improve affordable housing situations for families in need, and has chapters all over the country.

Here’s a rare opportunity to eat well, do good, and show off a little math-nerd cred, all at the same time.

Piesanos locations in the 352 include Gainesville (5200 NW 43rd St., 352-371-7437), The Villages (729 Kristine Way, 352-350-7630), On Top of The World (8075 SW HWY 200, 352-619-1177), Trinity (2575 SW 42nd St., 352-351-6000) and Clermont (1754 FL-40, 352-717-5300).
