OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Tampa Bay-based Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band Nuthin’ Fancy will recreate the sound and energy of the Southern rock icons at the Ocala’s Reilly Arts Center on Saturday, June 11, 2026, as part of WIND-FM’s Rocks the Reilly concert series.
The band captures the heart and soul of one of the greatest Southern rock bands of all time, playing all the hits–from “Simple Man” and “Gimme Three Steps” to, yes, “Free Bird,” so you don’t need to be all clever and shout it out when they’re obviously gonna play it–as well as deep cuts from the band’s beloved catalog for those die-hard fans.
Since Skynyrd got its start in Jacksonville back in the mid-’60s, the group is particularly revered in this neck of the woods; there are still plenty of people around the 352 who fondly remember seeing the original band in clubs and at fairs and such when they were just starting out. For a tribute act to come to this part of the world and do Skynyrd, they really need to bring it, is what we’re saying, and Nuthin’ Fancy fits the bill.
Tickets for Saturday’s show are available here for $25-$50, a great price point for an affordable weekend night out enjoying favorite familiar tunes from a proven live act.
So far this year, WIND-FM’s Rocks the Reilly has brought tributes to AC/DC, the Eagles and Led Zeppelin, with concerts paying homage to Tom Petty (8/22), Van Halen (9/19), Aerosmith (10/17), and Pink Floyd (11/14) still to come.
