MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) โ€” Detectives seek help identifying fraud suspect tied to vehicle burglary, $4K in purchases

The Marion County Sheriffโ€™s Office is asking for the publicโ€™s help in identifying a man connected to a vehicle burglary and credit card fraud totaling over $4,000.

Deputies responded to a reported vehicle burglary on May 2, 2025, at Silver Springs State Park. Later that same day, the victimโ€™s stolen credit cards were used at Best Buy on SW 27th Avenue in Ocala. Surveillance footage shows the suspect purchasing multiple Apple electronics, including a MacBook Pro 14, iPad 13 Pro, Apple Pencil Pro, and Magic Keyboardโ€”totaling $4,274.21.

Property Crimes detectives obtained store surveillance footage and are working to identify the individual involved.
