OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Did you miss having a guiding “bark” through the darkness during the solar eclipse?
You can meet several of Marion County Animal Service’s adoptable pets this Saturday, April 13, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Brick City Bark Park at 3550 SW 74th Ave. in Ocala. The park is hosting a “Raise the Ruff” event where you have the opportunity to tour the facilities, shop from vendors, and meet some furry friends.
While the eclipse might have been partial, adoptions are totally free through April 13. These lovable pets are just a glimpse of the many waiting for a forever home at MCAS.
TAKE ME HOME THIS WEEK – APRIL 11, 2024
Frito wants to know what you’re doing for the next decade or so. He’d like to know if you’d mind a buddy to go along for the ride. This two-year-old guy has been waiting for someone to pull up in his future family car- his bags are packed! Courtesy: MCASFour-year-old Rudu needs a change. Since living in a home with an excessive number of cats, he never received the quality one-on-one time that ne needed to bond with most humans. This beauty will need a peaceful home, and a calming, sensitive person who will make him feel like the most loved cat in the world! Courtesy: MCASAnyone have some extra dog treats? Flan wants to work for them. This guy wants to learn how to be the best dog, and he tells us treats will help tremendously. Only two years old, he knows there will be a lifetime of lessons, and he’s ready for the journey! Courtesy: MCAS
