OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Marion County employees raised $12,273.39 for three local charities during the annual Jamboree Day, breaking previous fundraising records.

Organized by the Marion County Board of County Commissioners, the employee-driven event benefits the American Heart Association, March of Dimes, and United Way of Marion County.

Funds were raised through raffles, food sales, and competitive games, showcasing the county’s commitment to community support.

Each of the three organizations will receive $4,091.13 from the proceeds, marking 29 years of giving back through this tradition. County officials applauded the efforts, calling it a testament to their employees’ generosity and dedication.
