OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Planning a vacation? What about a wedding? Marion County residents can get all the paperwork they need for a honeymoon overseas this month during the upcoming Marriage License and Passport Days.
Starting Wednesday, Sept. 27, the Marion County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s Office will be open until 7 p.m. for marriage license and passport services. These extended hours will last through Friday, Sept. 29.
During these days, a variety of services will be available.
- Processing of new U.S. passport applications (passport renewals will not be accepted)
- Passport photography
- Marriage license services
- Marriage ceremonies
The Marriage License and Passport Day events are open to the public, but appointments are required. Luckily, the event days have extra slots. You can make an appointment here.
The events will be held at the Marion County Clerk of Court Annex Building, 19 N. Pine Ave., Room 126 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. On non-event days, marriage license and passport services are regularly available at this location Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
