OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A Marion County man has been arrested on charges of sexually battering a minor, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Edward Atkins, 22, met with a 15-year-old victim on multiple occasions in the parking lot of a business in Ocala. The business owner provided detectives with surveillance footage documenting interactions between Atkins and the victim.
On Wednesday, deputies visited the parking lot and found Atkins with the victim. He was taken into custody and is currently being held on a $70,000 bond.
