TALLAHASSEE, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Lottery announced that Hubert Wilkerson, 64, of Summerfield, has claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game. They say that Wilkerson opted for a one-time lump-sum payment of $640,000.
According to Lottery officials, Wilkerson purchased the ticket at a Publix located at 8780 South East 165th Mulberry Ln. in The Villages. As a bonus for selling the winning ticket, the retailer received a $2,000 commission.
