OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Residents of Marion County neighborhoods the Bluefields, Delcrest, Fort King Forest, Hi Cliff, Regency Estates and Sleepy Hollow are being advised to boil their drinking water due to an emergency repair to a water main.

Marion County Utilities recommends rapid boiling water for at least one minute or consuming bottled water until the notice is lifted. This includes any water used for drinking, cooking or brushing teeth.

Water used for laundry and bathing or showering does not need to be boiled.

The water will be tested per regulations from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Customers in the above-listed communities will be notified when the boil water notice is lifted.
