OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Marion County Public Schools (MCPS) is on the hunt for new talent and will host its Winter Career Fair on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Howard Academy Community Center, located at 306 NW 7th Ave., Ocala.
The event aims to attract college graduates, professionals, and families considering relocation to Marion County in the new year. Known as the “Horse Capital of the World®,” Marion County offers a close-knit community vibe with flexible job opportunities tailored to employees and their families.
Positions Available
MCPS is hiring for a variety of roles, including:
- Teachers
- Support Staff
- Marion Afterschool Program Team Members
- Transportation Team Members
- Food Service Team Members
On-Site Interviews
Attendees will have the chance to interview directly with school principals and district administrators. Applicants are encouraged to bring an updated resume and dress professionally to make a strong first impression.

This career fair is a collaborative effort between MCPS, CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion, and the Marion County Hospital District.
