MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – In January 2025, the Marion County School Board will temporarily relocate its public activities due to ongoing renovations at its usual meeting location.
The MTI Auditorium at 1614 E. Fort King St. in Ocala is undergoing ceiling and lighting upgrades throughout January. To accommodate this work, all School Board meetings and work sessions will be held at the Marion County Board of County Commission chambers, located at 601 SE 25 Ave.in Ocala.

The adjusted schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, Jan. 9, 9 a.m. – Work Session
- Tuesday, Jan. 14, 5:30 p.m. – Board Meeting
- Thursday, Jan. 23, 9 a.m. – Work Session
- Thursday, Jan. 23, 4 p.m. – ICROC Quarterly Meeting (Independent Citizens Referendum Oversight Committee)
- Tuesday, Jan. 28, 5:30 p.m. – Board Meeting
Renovations are expected to be completed by Feb. 1, 2025, after which meetings will return to the MTI Auditorium.
