MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Marion County firefighters rescued a driver trapped inside of an SUV following a crash with a semi-truck.

Marion County Fire Rescue (MCFR) says around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, crews responded to reports of an accident involving a semi-truck, an SUV, and a Jeep. They say multiple callers told them that a driver was trapped inside of an SUV.

In less than five minutes crews arrived at the scene located in front of a Taco Bell in Belleview and discovered the driver of the SUV “pinned” between her vehicle and the semi-truck. MCFR says there was also a small diesel fuel leak coming from the tractor-trailer.
