DUNNELLON, FL (352today.com) – Detectives with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are actively investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Saturday morning, Dec. 14, 2024. The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Jeffery Robbins.
Deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of S.W. Shorewood Dr. in the Rainbow Lakes Estates subdivision at approximately 3 a.m. in response to reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they found Robbins, a white adult male, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
MCSO Major Crimes detectives are working diligently to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting. Authorities confirmed that all individuals involved in the incident have been accounted for and are being interviewed as part of the ongoing investigation.
