OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has shared that Angel Reyes reported missing and endangered on Thursday, Sept. 5, has been located and is safe.

Original story, Sept. 7, 2024, at 10:05 a.m.: A Silver Springs Shores man has gone missing.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) says Angel Manuel Santiago Reyes was last seen leaving his home located at 26 Larch Course in the Ocala area using a red motorized wheelchair on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024.  They say he was wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.

Reyes is described as being 5′ 11″ with brown eyes and black hair.  He is around 200 lbs. and is 47 years old.  He is Hispanic/Latino.

Reyes is considered endangered because he has multiple sclerosis and brain lesions.  MCSO says that his condition has caused him “to become confused.”  They share that he recently became lost while traveling in his wheelchair and was found in Fruitland Park.

MCSO says that Reyes may stop at a convenience store to charge his wheelchair.
