OCALA, FL (352today.com) – A multi-vehicle crash on I-75 Northbound near mile marker 351 caused significant traffic disruptions during rush hour Wednesday afternoon, requiring a coordinated emergency response.
Ocala Fire Rescue (OFR) crews were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:49 p.m.

Upon arrival, OFR says that responders found four vehicles with varying levels of damage blocking all three lanes of traffic. A Florida Highway Patrol officer was already on-site assisting with the initial assessment.

Among the involved vehicles, a silver pickup truck sustained front-end damage and a minor fuel leak. A black sedan, carrying three occupants, had heavy rear-end damage and was positioned against a guardrail.

A maroon SUV, also with three occupants, suffered moderate damage. A gold SUV was found overturned, though its driver was uninjured and not trapped.
Six people were transported to local hospitals, with two – one from the pickup truck and a minor from the sedan – classified as trauma alerts.
Traffic was impacted for about 90 minutes as crews cleared the scene. Authorities urge drivers to remain cautious, particularly during high-traffic periods.
