OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala Police Department (OPD) is inviting the community to come together for this yearโ€™s National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, at the E.D. Croskey Recreation Center from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This free, family-friendly event offers residents the chance to connect with OPD officers and neighbors while enjoying an evening packed with activities.

What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is part of a nationwide initiative designed to:

  • Promote crime and drug prevention awareness
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit
