BELLEVIEW, FL (352today.com) – The City of Belleview has announced exciting enhancements to this year’s Light Up Lake Lillian celebration. The December 7 event will introduce two new interactive activities aimed at creating lasting holiday memories for local families.

In partnership with Church on the Hill and the Orange Blossom Gardens Lions Club, the festival will now feature cookie decorating and ornament-making stations. Children can unleash their creativity by decorating sugar and chocolate chip cookies with various frostings and sprinkles, or craft their own holiday ornaments to take home.

These additions complement an already robust lineup of festivities, including photos with Santa Claus, holiday-themed inflatables and games, face painting, and live musical entertainment. Local food trucks and vendors will offer seasonal treats and unique gift-shopping opportunities, culminating in the traditional lighting ceremony around Lake Lillian.

“These new activities add an extra touch of magic to our Light Up Lake Lillian event,” said Robert Vass, Events and Promotions Manager. “We’re creating an event that has something for everyone, thanks to our sponsors Gary Yeomans Ford Villages and Mid-Florida Credit Union.”

The event runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lake Lillian, SE Robinson Rd. in Belleview. Admission is free to the public.
