OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The next time you’re flying in or out of Ocala’s International Airport, the artwork on the walls may catch your eye.
A new exhibit called Wanderlust showcases Florida’s natural beauty and landscapes.

A series of landscape photographs by Maven Photo + Film are on display through July 2 at the Ocala airport.
In all, the exhibit is 17 photos printed on metal.
Maven Photo + Film is a commercial photography and videography business founded in 2020 by two professional photographers, Meagan Gumpert and Dave Miller. They say as photographers working in a digital age, it’s especially satisfying to see their work in print.
The duo has snapped thousands and thousands of photos so how narrowing their collection down to just 17 had to be a bit of a challenge.
“Travel is a huge part of our lives! When we were invited to exhibit our photos at the Ocala Airport, we knew we had images that would be great for this location,” said Gumpert. “We wanted to showcase some of the beautiful locations we’ve visited, so we narrowed down our collection to trips we’ve taken in the past 2 years.”
That love of travel inspired the name of the exhibit.
“‘Wanderlust’ is defined as ‘a strong desire to travel,'” said Miller. “We hope this exhibit inspires the viewer to explore locations both near and far.”

The exhibit is part of Ocala’s art in city spaces initiative. The city accepts applications from artists for work to be displayed in one of six public spaces.
