OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The nomination period for the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County‘s annual Inspire Gala will end Friday, Feb. 27, 2026.
“The Inspire Gala honors individuals, businesses, and organizations whose generosity and service uplift our community,” read an announcement calling for nominations. “Candidates are nominated by their peers via an online submission made on the nominee’s behalf. We invite you to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes in our community who have made a significant impact. Whether it’s through tireless volunteer work, innovative projects, or inspiring leadership, we want to recognize those who make Ocala/Marion County a better place for us all!”
If you have a favorite individual, nonprofit or sponsor/partner business you believe goes above and beyond in its service, make sure you download the nomination submission form (available here), fill it out and return it to the Community Foundation before the deadline. “To preserve impartiality, The Community Foundation will not participate in the nomination or selection process,” reads the announcement. “Submissions will be redacted of names and forwarded to multiple unaffiliated nonprofit judges from outside Marion County for evaluation.
