OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Super Bowl LX is this Sunday, and one Ocala watch party is taking the iconic competitive themes of teamwork, support and triumph over adversity to inspiring new levels by creating an event that will double as a fundraiser for a local woman who is currently battling Stage 4 duodenal adenocarcinoma.
Ocala Bets‘ Super Sunday shindig will feature–in addition to the expected big screens, food, drinks and communal fun–a silent auction and raffles to help offset the costs of medical care for 46-year-old Nikki Serrano, whose family has deep roots in our local community and who suffers from a comparatively rare but aggressive form of cancer that attacks the small intestine. Nikki’s friends at the Marion County Building Industry Association partnered with Ocala Bets and other sponsors to create a memorable Game Day get-together that will not only be one of the biggest watch parties in the area, but also a benefit for a friend in need.
Proceeds from the $10 cover charge will go to help as well as the raffles and silent auction.
The party starts at 6:30 p.m. this Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026. Ocala Bets is located at 1781 SW 60th Ave. in Ocala.
Sponsorships for the event are still available at multiple levels, and if you can’t attend, donations are gratefully accepted; interested parties can contact Denise Alexander at admin@mcbia.org.
