Funded by the Penny Sales Tax, the new facility replaces the previous station, which was built in 1960. The updated station offers enhanced capabilities, including accommodations for 12 EMS vehicles, ample parking, and improved living quarters for the crews.

The station features:

  • Sleeping accommodations for nine crews.
  • A physical training room.
  • A large kitchen.
  • Two day rooms, designed to provide space for personnel to rest between calls.

This modern facility is expected to improve operational efficiency and create a more comfortable working environment for EMS personnel, allowing them to better serve the community.
