OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala City Council will consider approving a one-year renewal of a construction services agreement with Miller Pipeline, LLC, for the water resources improvement program in the amount of $2 million at their Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, meeting.

It’s the fourth amendment to the construction services agreement for water resources improvement projects entered into by the City of Ocala and Indiana-based Miller Pipeline, LLC.

Nearly three years ago, on Jan. 11, 2023, the City of Ocala and Miller Pipeline, LLC, initially entered into a services agreement related to the city’s water resources improvement program projects, for a term of two years from Jan. 9, 2023, through Jan. 8, 2025.

On May 17, 2023, the city and the contractor entered into a first amendment to the services agreement for water resources improvement projects, increasing the overall compensation amount and to incorporate the Florida Department of Environmental Protection contract provisions.

However, on Aug. 9, 2024, the city and the contractor entered into a second amendment to the services agreement for water resources improvement program projects, to increase the overall compensation amount to reflect the expected level of expenditure over the remainder of the contract term.

Less than a year ago, on Jan. 15, 2025, the city and the contractor entered into a third amendment to the services agreement for the water resources improvement program projects. The third amendment was to renew the original for the first of two available one-year renewals and to modify the pricing schedule by 3 percent.

The City of Ocala and Miller Pipeline, LLC, now desire to renew the original agreement as amended for its one-year renewal term, and to increase the pricing schedule by 3 percent, according to the City of Ocala. The original as amended, is renewed for an additional one-year term, beginning on Jan. 9, 2026, and terminating Jan. 8, 2027. The City of Ocala will pay Miller Pipeline, LLC, a price not to exceed $2 million, the contract sum, over the renewal term as full and compensation for the timely and satisfactory provision of services.
