OCALA, FL (352today.com) – On March 18, 2026, Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Major Crimes detectives arrested Kevin Foster Daniels on charges of Lewd and Lascivious Behavior and Battery stemming from an incident involving a juvenile.
On February 21, 2026, MCSO deputies responded to the Circle K located at 6155 SW Highway 200 in Ocala regarding a suspicious incident. When deputies arrived, they spoke with the juvenile victim. According to the victim, while walking to the store, he noticed he was being followed by a man driving a minivan. After entering the store and sitting in a booth, he observed the suspect, later identified as Daniels, enter the business.
The victim then went into the restroom. While inside a stall, he heard a noise and observed Daniels with his pants lowered, looking through the stall door at the victim. Daniels then made explicit sexual propositions toward the juvenile. As the victim attempted to leave, Daniels grabbed his arm. The victim was able to break free and alert store employees, who immediately contacted law enforcement. Daniels fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.
Through investigative efforts, Major Crimes Detective Melvin Coates identified Daniels as the suspect. Following an interview, Daniels was arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.
