Moshe Josue Delgado Juarez among 14 arrested in Volusia County undercover operation targeting online predators.
VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – A 25-year-old Ocala man was among 14 people arrested during a three-day undercover operation in Volusia County targeting online child predators.
The operation, conducted June 6–8, involved undercover detectives posing as children between the ages of 13 and 15. Authorities said the suspects believed they were arranging to meet minors for sexual encounters.
One of the suspects, Moshe Josue Delgado Juarez of Ocala, allegedly attempted to flee the scene on June 9. Volusia County deputies say he accelerated his vehicle into a law enforcement officer, fracturing the deputy’s leg. In addition to charges related to the sting operation, Delgado Juarez faces several felony counts, including aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, aggravated fleeing with injury, resisting arrest with violence, and assault on law enforcement.
All 14 suspects were booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
