OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala Marion Transportation Planning Organization held a board meeting Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, and the announcement was made that the Ocala Marion TPO will be launching its new website on Jan. 30.
This was a project that the TPO board approved in 2025, which was a contract with Blue Creative Solutions, for a revised TPO website.
“We’ve been working with them since the fall,” said Rob Balmes, Ocala Marion TPO director. “We just finished a meeting with them today, and they’re ready to launch the new website Friday of this week.”
By design, the new website will look very similar to the site the TPO has currently, featuring the same basic framework and structure. There are icons that lead to maps, facts and figures, traffic codes and the Safety Matter series.
A feature has been added with upcoming meetings and a calendar.
“We’re very pleased with the whole process, and very appreciative of Shakayla (Irby, Ocala Marion TPO administrative and social media coordinator),” said Balmes. “She’s been working on this for some time now.”
