OCALA, FL (352today.com) – This holiday season, Santa isn’t the only one to watch for—keep an eye out for Mayor Marciano.

The mayor asks that you snap a photo if you spot him on his festive adventures and share it on social media with the hashtag #MayorBenOnTheBench to spread holiday cheer.

“This holiday season, I’ll be exploring our city, sharing all the amazing things Ocala offers its citizens and visitors,” says Mayor Marciano in a Facebook post. “You might know my friend, the Elf on the Shelf—but I’m staying put to spread some cheer right here!”

Pro tip: One of the mayor’s favorite go-to spots is the Mary Sue Rich Community Center a state-of-the-art, 41,750-square-foot facility designed to promote health, wellness, and community connection. Located at 1821 NW 21st Ave., the center features a range of programs and activities for residents and visitors alike.  It’s open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12-5 p.m.

From festive events to community programs, Mayor Marciano’s appearances aim to highlight the spirit of togetherness that makes Ocala shine during the holidays.
