OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The Ocala Police Department is reportedly investigating the death of a 72-year-old woman who drowned in a residential swimming pool on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025.
According to multiple reports, the OPD responded to call on Sunday about a woman who had drowned in a pool in a house on NE 6th Street in Ocala. Forensics and the medical examiner were reportedly on the scene in the evening hours.
WCJB reported on Monday afternoon that a neighbor’s identification confirmed that the individual was a resident of the home where she drowned.
The investigation is ongoing.
